Halle Arlt, Sophomore writer

Halle is a sophomore and in her second year of journalism.  She enjoys taking sports pictures for journalism.  Outside journalism, Halle is involved in cheer and wrestling student manager.

Junior Kylie Krajicek asks her “coach” a question during the homecoming powderpuff game. The juniors created their own jerseys with a nickname on the front and math equations as their numbers on the back. “We thought it would be funny to customize our own jerseys to make them more like us and represent our class,” Krajicek said.

While participating in Chieftain Games, freshman Jersey Siske gets splashed as her water balloon pops. Siske and her partner, Addi Jones, got out in round three. “It was really fun to do the water balloon toss with Addi, but when it popped the water was really cold,” Siske said.

On Hawaiian Day, sophomore Amalea Vaughn-Lantzer laughs with her classmates in Personal Finance. Vaughn-Lantzer was one of 25 sophomores who dressed up that day. “Dressing up for HOCO gave me something to look forward to during the week,” Vaughn-Lantzer said.
